FIRE is spreading! FIRE Foundation is pleased to partner with the following affiliate organizations who share our mission to provide children with special needs the opportunity for an inclusive Catholic education.
FIRE Foundation of Northeast Iowa, founded in 2016, supports inclusive Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Dubuque. FIRE of NE Iowa makes grants to partner schools to ensure resources are available to help students with special needs learn, grow and thrive. In addition, this affiliate lends support to educators for professional development on inclusive education topics.

FIRE Foundation of Central Illinois, founded in 2018, supports the growth of inclusive Catholic education in the Diocese of Springfield. FIRE of Central Illinois is a recent start-up that’s focused on building partnerships with Catholic education advocacy organizations that share FIRE’s vision of strengthening and expanding inclusive learning opportunities. The organization is working to create conversations that lead to increased understanding about the benefits of inclusion for all learners. They’re just getting started so stay tuned!
